Now all we need is a mod that gives Age of Empires the beautiful art style of Dwarf Fortress.

@Tonytwin
Actually, this mod could be useful. Simple cubes would allow terrain boundaries to be easily identified with a glance. Having all the fish as red cubes would also allow players to quickly identify how much fish there is in a given body of water. It may not be aesthetically pleasing, but it can be quite practical.

@jellymann Hey I'm looking to edit the .slp files for fish, Advanced Genie Editor .slp files point to non-existent files so I assume they are hidden in a different directory or something. You have them in your mod however (and I can't edit yours because I want them to keep their original graphics with my small edits). How did you get the right files? Though, I imagine you didn't need to use any of the original assets with your mod.

This is the equivelant of picmip in quake. Simplifies everything so that you focus on the competitive edge. Thank you for this mod.

This is stupid and useless. No offense, but its not very useful and looks ugly. It's just colored cubes and thats all.
