Minerva III Advanced Destroyer

Description
Minerva III is a destroyer with excellent firepower, protection and mobility. The ship comes with advanced features such as guided missiles, chaff countermeasures and auto-repairing weaponry. It is survival ready and capable of planetary landings.

This ship is the successor to Minerva I and II, offering vastly improved capabilities compared to the earlier models. Fully vanilla, although decorative DLC is required.

Minerva III comes equipped with a redesigned guided missile system using the new WHAM/LAMP script, and is capable of firing two missiles at a time. These missiles have been found to be capable of overcoming heavy point-defence when firing both at once with the "spiral" mode enabled.
Additionally, a powerful fixed Gatling multicannon is mounted to the bow of the ship which is capable of dealing precise damage at close-medium range and tearing through armour. Two additional turrets have been fitted to the ship bringing the total to 10 (excluding interior turrets).
Protection has also been improved with slight up-armouring of various internal compartments, as well as the introduction of chaff launchers on the underside of the hull.
Other minor changes include improved airlocks and crew quarters capacity.

Background:

While Minerva II was the first ship in the series to offer guided missile capabilities, the reliability and effectiveness of its launcher system was found to be unsatisfactory - largely due to it being a modification of the gravity gun seen on Minerva I, along with it being capable of firing only one missile at a time.
With the release of new missile scripts it was decided to build an entirely new missile launcher system which was more compact, reliable and effective.
The end result is a ship capable of effectively engaging targets at long range using the guided missiles, as well as in close quarters by making use of the expanded firepower and protection. The ship otherwise retains the good mobility and survival functionality of its predecessors.

If you wanted to build the ship entirely in survival then you would need to paste the ship in a separate creative game, get the blueprints for the missile launcher/chaff/front multicannon with ctrl+B and then go back to your survival mode and put them onto the ship. You'll probably need to put the small rotor head onto the large rotors yourself in that case, so it would be worth looking up tutorials on how that works.

@Scaff Ah OK I think I know your problem
To paste the ship in with all the small grids (missiles ect) you can't use a projector as it will only place the large grid.
Instead the easiest way is just to copy it straight from the blueprints menu (accessed by pressing F10) with creative tools enabled or in creative mode. That way the ship should spawn with all the small grids attached.

yes from PLAN on projector menu and selecting blueprint

@Scaff Looks like the subgrids aren't spawning in at all for some reason, not exactly sure why as I've not encountered this issue before. How are you placing the ship? Are you copy/pasting it from the blueprints screen?

Oh thx for i'll try that

@Scaff The missiles should be built in the silo automatically as long as the welders and projectors are turned on and (if you're on survival) you've got the required materials.
Sometimes I think the game has trouble building new missiles if you surpass the block limits, so it might be worth turning those off and trying.
The ship should come with missiles built when you paste it in (the silo should look like the 4th pic in the gallery) so if there are no missiles at all then I'm not sure, it might be a setting that's preventing it. Try pasting the ship in a new creative game and make sure it all works there.
