Description
Insane Carry Weight Increase
After a frankly unethical amount of weight training, the main characters can now lift up to 1m kg.

Summary
I decided to make some more variants of my previous Simple Carry Weight Increase (DE) mod. This mod has a similar function, with very different numbers. Namely you'll start with 1 million carry weight as opposed to 200, for those of you who want to forget that Divinity Original Sin 2 even has carry weight as a mechanic for the rest of your lives.

Note: If you cannot see your carry weight in the inventory screen, hover over your characters Strength to see the current maximum. The extra carry weight should be there, it is simply too long for the game to typically display. In my own tests, I see 10000 as my limit, but hovering over the strength option in the attributes screen shows the correct value.

If you are seeing a number like 200 in the inventory rather than 10000 (or some similar number starting with 1 and only followed by zeroes) then you have most likely got another mod conflicting with this one. Search your modlist for others that make changes to strength or carry capacity.

If you'd like to contact me for something, or otherwise keep up with me outside of Steam, you can typically find most of what I'm up to lately through my Carrd page.[fjarunsigr.carrd.co] Following on any of the platforms in my Carrd would be appreciated, and they're a bit more reliable to contact me through than Steam is.

How can I get help?
If you need help quickly, try contacting me on my Twitter. If you just want to tell me about a potential issue, feel free to use the Steam comments - just be aware that these are slower as the notifications are largely useless.

Do not try to create mod page discussions for help at all. They are by far the worst method, as there is no notification for when one is started whatsoever.

If and when I start actively modding again, I will see what I can do to offer alternative download options. For the moment, this is offered as-is.

I found the culprit! Your mod works fine and all of your mods are great. Thanks!

Right. I had to reinstall the game to test but a fresh copy of this mod running no other mods and this works fine.

As noted before, the party interface can't actually display all the carry weight you get from this (caps out at 5 digits, it seems like), but you can see the real number by hovering over your Strength attribute.

For you specifically @Zero, getting 200 means you have the default amount, so it suggests something is overwriting the mod. If you try this mod alone with nothing else enabled and it doesn't work, let me know.

On my fresh copy for a test I visibly have 10k in the inventory and hovering over strength shows a million.

Only gives 200.

doesnt work for me

OK, it turns out Larian pranked us all. It does still work, just the weight indicator in the inventory is incorrect and recently broke for more people, including myself (out of nowhere?)
If you hover over your strength as mentioned in the description it will show the correct value.

thank you for trying to fix it

For those of you looking for a functional carry weight mod that gives as much as possible; https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2121829489

Obscene carry weight increase still seems to be working without problems. Insane does not seem to be possible to fix with the game as it is now though.
Though even if it was I'd also need to manage to get Divinity engine to plug back into this page which seemingly doesn't want to happen with my tests either.

Right, finally got time to get around to this much later than I had planned.
It would seem that the major game updates since I last played have basically made this mod impossible with my method. If I start from my 10k mod base and add a single zero to the value to test for 100k, I get a stack overflow type error giving carry weight of -2147.

So it seems Insane carry weight is now impossible to run with the state of the game.

OK in light on this having had someone do one mod only testing while my game needs to be reinstalled following file corruption, this mod specifically is currently bugged out somehow and is giving 10k total.

I'll see if I can fix this one when my redownload is done but we'll be waiting a while for my Internet to work through 40gb. Ideally should be 2-3 days but who knows, steam has dropped progess for me before. Expect fix within the week though.

I sent a friend request because going through the mods and activating one at a time is making weird things happen
