This is AWP | Ringtail. It's the first skin these collection in a collaboration with Graff that I created in a completely new technique for myself. It was developed for a long time. We tried different techniques, compositions, and even implementations; Many bugs were fixed and new ones were found over and over again. And after that, we made every effort to ensure that the performance was not only better, but also looked organically in the game and it was most pleasant and convenient for you to play with it.
Together, we created something that interprets CS:GO in a completely new way. Like the player is a predator who waiting for butterflies, one after another.
The illustration was inspired by a North American cacomistle (Bassariscus astutus), or ringtail - their grace, dexterity and swiftness is similar to that which we all strives to show in the game. To reach as great heights and victories as possible, to reach there that seems unattainable now, but so close and at the same time so far. And predatory burrows and rivalry within stimulate you to make your KDA as good as possible.
And may each of you interpret this skin in his own way. But one thing remains unchanged - there is a beast living inside each of us, and its purpose is to hunt for butterflies.
