Description
Purpose
A medium miner designed for tunneling horizontally or diagonally either manually or with the PAM autominer script.

The MK3 is available in all three thrust types, either as Agna (Basic Cockpit) or Myxini (industrial Cockpit) variants and features 4 connectors (allowing for varied docking options), a larger drill profile than the MK1 and MK2 Tunnel miners, and a stone ejection system.

The Hydrogen version can be used on moons but is not recommended for planets.

This ship has an empty mass of 81341 kgs, and can move with a full cargo at a maximum tilt of 90 degrees below horizon, but cannot fly upside down.

All Programmable blocks are turned off in this blueprint and all toolbars are the same from the cockpit and remote control.

All ships in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston.

so his problem might be caused by having thrusters on as when they are on they cause it to clang out or atleast that is what i have found when printing it

Thanks GuitarEC, glad you like the design.

As for your printing problem, the welder wall is definitely big enough.

are you printing layer by layer? This can be done using butting for increasing and decreasing minimum distance on the piston. This has been the only reliable way for me.

Or are you letting the piston retract all the way in one go? No matter how slowly, this usually leaves out some blocks, especially in the more complex designs

I love the design, but it was a real bear to print for some reason - lots of blocks that didn't print, and I had to follow behind and manually weld things - sometimes having to grind out surface armor to get to inner areas (gyros, projector, etc). FYI - my printer is a 5x3 grid, piston travel is only 0.15 m/s.
