No Fog

Disables almost all ambient fog in the game (most noticeable when zoomed all the way out). Very light fog during rain and snow only. Small tweak to rain and snow direction.


No more staring at gray, faintly visible landscapes when zoomed out; no more being completely blinded during precipitation. Enjoy the game in its colorful glory at all times. Oh, and, enjoy being able to SEE.

This mod completely disables clear weather fog, and severely reduces the fog that was added on top of that during rain & snow. Also, instead of an arbitrary direction which may or may not look nice depending on perspective, now rain and snow fall straight down (relative to the ground). No other changes made (to light color etc.) which might surprise you, when you see how this simple tweak changes the entire color palette of the game.


- Will conflict with mods that change environment and weather effects, like sunlight direction/color or rain/snow properties.

- Pairs well with my No Wind Sound mod.


I didn't completely remove weather fog because the particle effects are somewhat simple, and look bad when viewed 100% clearly. Also this (very small) amount of fog does improve the 'mood' of the weather, without sacrificing visibility.
