Description
SCOTTISH GOODS CATEGORY

All consumable items within this mod appear in their own 'Scottish Goods' category, so make sure you update your stockpiles after installing it!

IRN-BRU

(Pronounced 'Iron Brew.')

Scotland's other national drink, now available for consumption on the rimworlds!

- Made at the brewing table using steel or berries.
- 5/20/40/250 steel or 20/80/160/1000 berries each produce 1/4/8/50 bottles of Bru.
- Provides some nutrition and recreation.
- Has a mass of 0.5 and a market value of 10.
- Gives a +3 mood bonus for 6 hours when consumed.
- Pawns should automatically drink this if they are in need of recreation.
- Requires refigeration or freezing, with a rot time of 3 days.
- Can be made in batches of five, twenty, forty or eighty.
- Can be put into kegs for easier storage.

DEEP-FRIED MARS BAR

Another delicacy often associated with Scotland makes its way to the rimworlds.

- Made at a campfire, electric stove or fueled stove using chocolate (surprisingly).
-10 chocolate produces 1 deep-fried chocolate.
- Can be made in batches of one, four, eight or fifty.
- Provides the same amount of nutrition as a simple meal.
- Has the same mass as regular chocolate, but half the market value.
- Gives a +3 mood bonus for 6 hours when consumed.
- Requires refigeration or freezing, with a rot time of 3 days.

HAGGIS

- Made using any kind of meat at a campfire, electric stove or fueled stove.
- Has the same nutritional value as a fine meal.
- Provides a +3 bonus to mood for 6 hours when consumed.
- Can be made in batches of one, four, eight or fifty.
- Requires refrigeration or freezing, with a rot time of 3 days.

KILT

- Made at tailoring benches or a crafting spot using 100 fabric or leather.
- +25% social impact.
- Good at keeping the wearer cool.
- Little to no protection from attack.
- Base market value of 200 silver.
- Covers the legs only, allowing you to use utility items such as smokepop belts.

SCOTTISH GOODS TRADER

- Buys and sells Irn-Bru, deep-fried Mars bars, haggis and kilts.
- Also buys and sells steel and berries.
- Available as a caravan or as an orbital trader.

WHY CAN I MAKE IRN-BRU USING STEEL?

Watch this video, and it will hopefully explain the reference. If you're still confused, or the video doesn't work: Irn-Bru once ran a series of adverts where they proclaimed their product was 'Made in Scotland from girders.' Girders aren't a thing in RimWorld, but steel - the material that they're usually made from - is, so that's why you can use steel if you so wish.

REMOVING THE MOD

Before removing the mod, make sure you remove any trace of it from your saves. This includes all of the items it adds, as well as any bills from your brewery and/or cooking areas.

If any items were still present at the time the mod was removed, you will get an error message when you load your save and may see some broken textures.

DISCLAIMERS

Irn-Bru is a registered trademark of AG Barr plc and is used with permission, proof of which you can find above.

Mars is a registered trademark of Mars Incorporated and is used without permission, though I will gladly comply with any request to remove the product name.

On no steel is fine. No need to over complicate things.

@Wanderer101 I could add a requirement to make girders first if you want.
