The workshop item adds one (1) submarine to the game:

• Magistralis.sub

Inspired by vanilla subs, from looks to gameplay experience, Magistralis is by far my most ambitious submarine project. After years of on and off development, I'm very happy to present to you the 6.0 version of this item!

• Generic
  
  • All wires are hidden in game to increase performance and to prevent me from going mentally insane having to make every single one of them look pretty in the editor. It means:
    
    • You can't fully detach default wires,
      
    • You still can rewire them within the connection panels they are connected to, i. e. the wire can be disconnected from any pins and be left hanging producing sparks or be attached to a different pin.
    Note: having those possibilities is still more than enough to screw up sub functionality entirely so enable "Lock Default Wires" if you don't want any surprise rewires from other players.
    
  • Most components are hidden in game, including all components located within walls.
    
  • Visible components, like some relays, water and smoke detectors, etc. can not be detached w/ a wrench and can not be edited in-game.
• Power system
  
  • Automated power management via a battery array.
    
    • Battery charge speed changes dynamically based on their charge percentage.
      
    • Allows for prevention of current spikes and drops.
      
      • To prevent current drops batteries need to retain some charge.
  • Underpowered reactor. It is strongly recommended to push the reactor to its limits, which may require adding several fuel rods.

Overall excellent gun coverage, featuring:

• 1 coilgun,
  
• 2 chainguns,
  
• 1 pulse laser,
  
• 1 double coilgun,
  
• 2 discharge coils (both are at the top),
  
• 3 depth charge tubes,
  
• 1 heavy turret hardpoint for optional gun mounting.
