@Juiced2010 Honestly, I enjoyed that phase a lot, to the point of restarting several times, but I can't progress with everything else that way, so I had to stop that.

I understand, mainly still low level to the point where I'm trying to get maximized enough to take runs at leisure. I'm figuring on 4 or 5 more "round robins" will get me a decent truck setup and 7 drivers making side money for me so that I can fully explore the map. A lot more fun when you're not staring at your bank account.

@Mickey Mouse idk if I have ever tried that route yet. Might investigate at some point. I've been mostly avoiding germany in ets2 before the rework of the old bits imported from gts which i played too.

@Juiced2010 I'm more of a fan of doing jobs that take me where I feel like going to, but I am not a minmaxer. If you want the most money out of a job, I'd just take what pays the best per km there.
I like the specials but I don't do them all of the time. Remember that there is an achievement to do all the routes at least once, and honestly, wouldn't it be just more interesting to do jobs as they come and enjoy the challenges that come with specials on various routes? As long as one doesn't just crash everywhere and collect fines, everything will advance you both skills and money.
