Description
Check out my other mod, Realistic Terraforming!

Updated to 3.4.5

This is and Add-On for the Real Sol Textures mod
This mod should be placed BELOW Real Sol Textures in the load order.

Add-On Features
- 70+ new planetary textures
- Continental textures for almost every body in the solar system (Deimos, Phobos, Eris, Makemake, Haumea, and the asteroids do not).
- New textures for different climates for Mars, Venus, Mercury, Luna, Ceres, Io, Europa, and Pluto.
- New textures for Deimos, Phobos, Dione, Iapetus, Tethys, Rhea, Oberon, Umbriel, Ariel, Titania, Triton, Makemake, Haumea, and Eris.
- Revamped textures for Ceres, Earth, and Barren Earth
- Fully compatible with Planetary Diversity
- Adds lifeless habitable world textures for several planets and moons, for Gigastructural Engineering compatibility
- All textures are automatically applied to a planet that changes classes (same as Real Sol Textures)
- All Solar System versions (Primitive, Nuked, Commonwealth of Man) will receive this treatment.
- New Alpha Centauri system based off the movie Avatar, with custom textures for Pandora and Polyphemus (added by Real Sol Expansion start)
- New texture for Reach in the Epsilon Eridani system (added by Real Sol Expansion start)
- Some textures are reused for more than one planet class (check pics above for details)
- Sizes for some planets and moons have been tweaked, to fit more closely with real life (did you know Jupiter's moon Ganymede is actually larger than Mercury?)

Includes 3 Different Starts
- Real Sol Expansion: Includes Saturn, Mars, and Uranus' moons, as well as Eris (courtesy of Sol Unleashed)
- Real Sol Expansion (Terraformable): Real Sol Expansion start with added terraforming candidate modifiers to every world except Deimos, Phobos, Eris, Makemake, and Haumea.
- Real Sol Expansion (Light): In this start, only Mars and Venus have the terraforming candidate modifier. This is the start I suggest if you're going to play with mods like Gigastructural Engineering and Planetary Diversity Habitats, especially if you decrease habitable planet count, as it adds some additional challenge and progression.

Special Thanks
Nekollx for allowing me to integrate his updated version of the Sol Unleashed mod into this.
csrr who allowed me to use his continental Mars texture from his Improved Mars mod.
Flex FRD. This mod wouldn't be possible if I didn't reverse engineer his Real Sol Textures mod to add these new textures.
1wyrmshadow1, whose Deviant art portfolio makes up the vast majority of the terraformed moon textures. His textures actually inspired me to make this mod, which originally was only going to include the Mars textures.
Kexitt and Ittiz for their beautiful textures from Deviant art.

Also the title wasn't changed when we posted those comments.

ah well sorry, I guess I was assuming things

TheDash - "Parts of their mod" is not the whole mod. The most important part, the reason I was using the mod is the additional terraforming textures. Those still aren't available in the Real Sol Textures mod. Thus, most of the mod was not incorporated. I had to do that myself, manually, in order to get Titan, Ganymede, Europa, Callisto, Luna, etc. So no, it hasn't sorry to point out. Since this mod has 272 textures and Real Sol has just 61 textures, its reasonable to assume that there are at least 211 textures missing.

Fellas, read the title, its been integrated with the core mod. All of it is part of Real Sol Textures now.

Yeah, 3.9 crashes with this mod enabled at main menu. Damn shame for such a good mod

Unfortunately this mod doesn't seem to be working as of 3.9. The game crashes upon reaching the main menu for me. Not sure what changed between 3.8 and .9 that would have broken it but its a shame.

Is this Still Working?

I'm sorry if this is asked before, but how do I place this mod in the load order? Below Planetary Diversity and Real Space? I placed it like this in my load order and only Earth and Mars has the unique texture. Tried terraforming Luna, but it got basic continental planet texture instead

Also having the cell shaded texture issues on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Polyphemus and Venus. Tried the fix mentioned below about adding entries but have not seen any change.

I found a fix to my problem below in case anyone is interested. The problem appears to be the new animations for gas giant planets. This also affects Venus as a special case. All I did was copy the entries from Real Sol for Venus, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune to the Real Sol Expanded "zzz_soltextures_planetary_entities.asset" and "zzz_real_sol_expansion_entities.asset" and it worked with the new animations from the latest patch. However if I am reading the code correctly from the Real Sol version, it appears all he did was hash them out so the code changes would be ignored and the new textures from Stellaris 3.8 would take over. Which is fine by me because the new textures look right at home. I think Saturn is still using the Real Sol texture with the hexagonal poles. Everything seems to be great now.
