Combined More Resources and Bigger Asteroid Fields

Beschreibung
Combined More Resources by Kastenessen and Bigger Asteroid Fields by life_n_dpi to create very large asteroids with a much higher chance to spawn material resources into them. All credit goes to those two. I really just enjoyed both mods on their own, but decided to try to combine them.

The asteroids are bigger than the original ones and they require more time to mine each segment of the individual asteroid. In return each will provide more resources per segment mined than the original asteroids. Early game this will make it feel like it is taking you 10 minutes or so to get through a single asteroid.

Also be aware that the claimable asteroids are harder to see among the new larger asteroids. I included an example of that in my second screenshot on the mod.

Hello, I noticed that when asteroids regenerate, they do not spawn at the increased size? I've used this mod for quite a while in my modpack and never really noticed until now. When a sector loads 95% of the asteroids are enormous compared to normal, but if I go mining for a long period of time I'll start seeing asteroids with 2-5k resources versus the 100k+ that were originally there. I have not tried leaving a sector for 30 minutes and rejumping back in to see if it refreshes the asteroid field..

Maybe, but I am not currently playing Avorion but I have been kind of itching to get back into Avorion. If I get back into it I will take a look into making a version of this where the spacing between things is larger.

I personally always liked having all the asteroids all packed together. That way you can fly your ship into the dense area and just mine away without having to move around quite a bit.

Would you be willing to make a version of this mod that spreads the asteroids and sector bounds out a lot more? things get pretty claustrophobic and everything seems to jump in darn near on top of each other.
