Please submit the content of your game log file (located in "Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder) right after the crash into paste.bin (or similar websites) and post the link here or in the discussion section of this Workshop mod. Be sure the log content submission isn't flagged as private.
If you are installing map mods, make sure they're up-to-date too. Put this mod and other traffic mod at the higher priority than your map mods. Also, put this mod at higher priority than your traffic mod.
If this mod work on your 1.49 but not in 1.50, then most probably your other mods are outdated. Try moving this mod onto the top most list of mod manager, or at least on top of your map or traffic mods.

Just keep your truck speed to not exceeding the speed limit indicated by Route Advisor or dash GPS screen. At certain areas such as Autobahn Germany you can speed your truck beyond 140 kph. This doesn't apply if you turn off traffic offence option in the gameplay settings, and that also mean irrelevant to install this mod.
