Did your grenadier miss a point blank 99% shot? Did your ranger just get shot through high cover from halfway across the map?
Don't get mad! Cheat! But wait, WelfareRecipient, I'm a filthy casual controller player and I just want to sit on my couch without a keyboard.
Fear not, this mod brings you back to days of old where games had cheat codes.

This mod requires the highlander to work.

By default this mod adds the following cheats to the game:


During the tactical phase, hold down LT + RT to activate cheat mode. You'll know you're in cheat mode because no other input will work.
Once in cheat mode, you can cancel out of it by pressing in the right stick.
Or you can enter a cheat sequence. Once a cheat sequence is complete, the cheat will be activated and cheat mode will end.


Additional codes can be added by modifying this config file:

Once in this file, enter the sequence of buttons you'd like and the xcom2 console command [docs.google.com] to execute. Note that some cheats do not work in the tactical phase.

The command string can comprise of the following values::
Bumpers, triggers and the select key are not supported.

For example:
Will add a code to execute `KillAi`, when you enter the sequence A,B,X,Y
Also realize that cheat codes themselves cannot have substrings of other cheats or else they won't execute. E.g.
If you have a code ABXY, and you try to add another one with sequence ABXYS, then you can never enter the second one, as the first code will terminate cheat mode.
