Description:
"Alpha Group Equipment" (short AGE) is a work-in-progress mod that focuses on adding weapons & gear used by the russian FSB Alpha-Group and other russian special operations Units.
We plan to add more content as we continue to work on our mod, a list of current assets can be found below.

Why do I need CBA_A3?
For several reasons. Among them, but not limited to:
  • Joint rail support
  • Toggable helmet visors (default: Shift+H)
  • Bolting animation
  • PiP scopes

Can you add custom animations/sounds?
None of us can do animations, so for the moment that is not possible. We try to use custom sounds in some areas, though good ones are hard to come by.

BEST ADD-ON FOR SOF, but when there are more than 7 fighters, the FPS drops to 40 :GDHard:

@GameGuyDude I’m sorry, but I think you may have misunderstood me. I was simply admiring his work, and I feel it’s a real shame that he hasn’t been able to post updates on his progress due to the Russia-Ukraine war. I just hate to see a masterpiece of art interrupted like this.
Look, as you might know, the U.S. once invaded my country, Vietnam. However, now that we are at peace, we have become friends and partners. We don't let the past dictate our feelings or hold onto hatred toward America. Despite that history, we now have military procurement contracts with the U.S., and Americans visit Vietnam as tourists every day and are welcomed with our sincere hospitality.

@SovProph Bruh, I didn't mean to compare Russia to the Nazis. I was just using that as an example of how I view war. In war, there is no 'right' or 'wrong'—there is only pain, brutal loss, and the heartbreak of fathers and husbands being torn away from their families.
As a Vietnamese person, I always stand for peace because my country and my family have lived through the agony of war. Like I said, I don't support conflict; I'm just a fan of military science from advanced nations, regardless of how the world perceives them.
I actually quite like NATO infantry weapons, but for those who don't know, most Western gear tends to malfunction in the Vietnamese environment. On the other hand, Russian-made weapons handle our combat conditions perfectly. So, simply put, I just like their hardware. Both Russia and Ukraine are good friends of Vietnam, and I don't want to see war happening to either of them.

@RAZORBILL and others complaining that he isn't releasing HIS work, nothing is stopping you from making edits or your own workshop items. Complaining of justified biases while ignoring your own blatant bias is in my opinion much worse than him not releasing items he spent a lot of time on. The entitlement in these comment sections is the real reason (besides new game releases) why the Arma 3 workshop is stagnating. No one owes us an explanation or never-ending updates. Hope that helps!

He is correct that there's not much point to not releasing made updates. End of the day its a game and people will do whatever they want with it however connected to reality it is. For example people are using your Ukraine mod to blow up Ukrainians to fufill their fantasies, some are just using them because they think it looks cool. To mix the fantasy and the reality doesn't really make progress in the world but it does prevent progress in the Arma community. End of the day its your choice but considering you said you already have a releasable update I dont see how there is any harm being done to publish it.
