In the twilight hours of October 30th, 1922, a titanic meteor crashed along the Northern coast of the Weimar Republic. Despite its size, the object incurred only minimal damage to the surrounding wilderness. After a brief survey, the Reichsrat ordered a hasty cover-up. Despite international curiosity, business proceeded as normal in both Germany, and throughout Europe.

In secret, the Weimar Republic had acquired the means to advance their technology by several centuries. Developing advanced machines never before seen, Germany slowly planned its revenge against the allied powers. With the rise of the fascist Reich in 1933, their moment had finally arrived.

The second Great War erupted in fire. Fielding machines equipped with alien technology, the Third Reich declared war against its enemies. Reich forces rapidly broke the Soviet Union's hold on the eastern front, seizing city after city. The armies of central and western Europe could never hope to rival Germany's might, falling battle after battle. The power of Germany's machines was unimaginable; their war fought on apocalyptic scale.

While the alien technology could not be completely reverse-engineered, that which was recovered allowed Germany to advance their robotics and propulsion by at least 200 years. Unfortunately, their weaponry could not be upgraded, limiting them to their time. Even so, further research into the surviving devices has unlocked more secrets. Anti-gravity propulsion allowed Germany to construct a lunar base in 1967, while the discovery of point-to-point jumping in 1994 has unlocked limited interstellar travel.

In 2061, the last independent nations of Earth capitulated. All regions of the world were subsumed, or subjugated, leaving only one to rule. With Germany in total control, the Third Reich was no more. Rising from the thousand-year promise of its heritage is the Eternal Reich, a regime seeking purity and power across the stars. Without opposition to threaten its rule, the Eternal Reich shall reign not for a thousand years, but for all of time.

I can't believe I actually have to say this, but this workshop collection is not an endorsement of fascism, Nazism, nor any other extreme ideology. This collection is a look into an alternate history from my perspective, and tells part of a fictional story I threw together while half-asleep. If bad guy builds offend you, I don't care.
