A simple tugboat to, uh, tug stuff. Works on planets and in space.


I built this quite some time ago mostly to assemble my clang drives and custom gatling turrets and thought I might as well publish it. You can use it to unflip rovers, assemble stuff, or just carry some things around. It has a built in medium cargo container for storage and is powered by hydro thrusters to make it work on planets and in space. In fact, it can even easily get into space on its own. The thrusters are powerful enough to lift up to ~40 tons of stuff. For maximum versatility it also has an ore detector and can be remotely operated.

Only the rear connector has a large conveyor port access to the medium cargo container, the bottom one only has a small port.

This little tug has never been more useful than now after the Prototech update! This little guy is capable of basically anything, was able to pull the Prototch drill back to my ship so I could bring it back to base. I use a slightly modified version with 2 merge blocks on the back for attaching a custom medium cargo pod to it.
Side note to those who use the Stargate mod, it fits perfectly and works as a nice little cargo skiff to travel between gate equipped bases!

A Very nice tug with a lot of power. I did a 20k trip and it was running low on hydrogen, but very impressive.

Too add: The B-60 did not survive the collision, it exploded and broke up.

An *excellent* design, as a proof and quote on it's sturdiness:
I just had bought a B-60 from a trader and hopped into the M-25 blasting off at full thrust. Turns out the B-60 was directly above my chosen landing pad, the 2 ships collided. I haven't found any damage to the M-25. Any.

12/10 My favourite ship on the Workshop!
