This requires Weapon Core to function!

The L9 is entirely WIP and has many bugs inherent to WeaponCore, like no mouse firing, sync and crashing issues in multiplayer games, and other effects unknown currently, this will improve as WC is developed further.

Royal Ordnance L9 is a British short-barrelled 165 mm gun used for combat engineering, particularly the demolition of defences.
Initially called Ordnance BL 6.5" Mk I, it was later renamed 165mm L9 Demolition Gun.
The gun is capable of firing a 64 lb (29 kg) High Explosive Squash Head (HESH) demolition projectile distances up to 2,400 m

250m/s projectile velocity, 2x gravity and a RoF of 3. Max range of 3000m
It will penetrate 2 blocks of small grid light armour equivalent on hit, and will detonate on impact then again after the 2 light armour to simulate HESH.

Remember to have "Use conveyors" toggle-able via toolbar as to let the gun draw ammo if conveyored. I have no idea why this is not in the control panel.

Go tell Darkstar and the others who helped what good work they have achieved :)

mouse fire `problem`*

the mouse fire is not `inherent to WeaponCore` as you said, northwind weapons uses control and mouse fire 100% like vanilla if u want.

This comment is all nostalgia:

As a veteran operator of an M728 CEV, I am a fan of BIG booms. 165mm HESH was a heavy, awkward round to load. It was used to take out concrete structures. In this role the HESH was especially effective as the physics of HESH v. concrete creates an affect called "spalling", where the cement bonds are shattered and every little bit of concrete becomes shrapnel vectored away from the point of detonation.

The round had much more mass in the warhead/projectile than it had propellant pushing it out the barrel. The propellant charge was just the last few inches of a monster round. At the training ranges, you could watch the blob head down range. It was so slow that you could imagine that you saw the thing spiral as it went. Or maybe I did. That was 30 years ago.

Sorry for rambling. I hope to see this nice and stable so I can play with it and giggle.

I'm yet to test this weapon in specific, but I haven't gotten a crash from WeaponCore while on local MP, did some earlier today using MWI guns. I hate to be captain obvious here but make certain you actually have WeaponCore loaded.
