Natur Coding Syntax Notepad++

Natur Syntax Highlight is a custom language of Notepad++ created for increased readability for those who mods HOI4 with Notepad++.

It has included most of the Syntax(Keywords) from HOI4 "API","LIBRARY".

The colors are categorized in : Triggers(Mostly RED), Effects(Mostly ORANGE), Modifiers(Mostly LIGHT PINK), Variables(Mostly LIGHT GREEN) and some commands that are not in the HOI4 Modding Wiki.
P.S Search the Wiki to know about each one of those categories!


STEP I - Place the NaturenHOI4SyntaxHighlight.xml into a folder that you desire.
The XML File is located inside --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\394360\2014108995\
STEP II - Open your Notepad++
STEP III - Click into Language on the top of the Window >
STEP IV - Go to User Defined Language
STEP V - Click on "Import..." and Select the NaturenHOI4SyntaxHighlight.xml file
STEP VI - Click on "Save As" and place the name you wish.

After that each HOI4 file you open to edit, just go in the Language tab once again and select my Language, It will be as the name you've set in the last step.

PROBLEM I - Background colour override
If your text looks like this Example(With the background color overriding your theme background colour) you simply have to follow these steps :
STEP I - Click on "Settings" and then click on "Style Configurator".
STEP II - Select "Global override" under "Styles".
STEP III - Click "Enable global override background colour".

Modding HOI4 without an Official Language onto text editor, can be very frustrating, so let's make sure this reach a lot of people out there.
