To create a production line in a system, each station needs to be?
Docked? within Transport range? Just use auto shuttles between stations?
How many stations can one system support? all 50+?
Since there is no more 'Trade Routes', how would you move goods from systemA to systemB to keep those production chains going? or is this just not possible anymore?
Feels like they ruined this game for trading... now its more micro management and less macro automated management, is this accurate?
I setup a simple Steel production system in one system which works but it continually fills up with steel due to demand dropping off, which happened to steel tube once I added that... and no way to just automate moving my overage to system C/D/E/F four jumps away, which made trading fun.
anyway, some insight would be helpful, since this seems totally broken now...
With remodeling them being an option, I also suspect you can just dock them directly, and just build one giant station that creates literally everything, which might(?) improve performance
First of all, you don't need to steal mines in order to pack more than three into a system. An easy thing to do is to claim an asteroid, remodel it to something smaller, and transport it to the system you want. Easy. I've packed 4+ mines into a system this way.
Second thing I noticed is the gas collectors outline in system 1 are out of date. There is not currently a Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Chlorine, and Florine station. I'm trying it with Helium, Nitrogen, Neon, Chlorine, and Florine since that has 3 out of 4 of the specifically used items and the other is covered by the first listed gas collector.
