Rumbler Transport

Description
Hi All. This is my attemp to merge heavy surface mining vehicles, 80's Soviet design and Space Engineers into a Supply Transport. Enjoy!

Rumbler Supply Transport (Modless & Survival Ready)

The Rumbler Transport is a long haul transport designed for use on planetary bodies with as little as .25 standard gravity*. Powered by redundant Hydrogen Engines and six drive wheels, the Rumbler is capable of traversing most terrain with relative ease. Two Hydrogen Tanks and two Oxygen Tanks allow for extended length operations in any environment. Twin H2/O2 Generators allow for refueling on extreme length trips or if hydrogen is being transported in addition to bulk cargo. Communication is handled by a standard radio Antenna while an included Laser Antenna is used for orbital communication. A standard Beacon is included for emergencies.

While standard configuration is for a crew of two, a crew of four can be accommodated by working in alternating shifts. Included software packages, Whip's Turret Radar and MMaster's Automatic LCDs 2, allow for early warning of potential hostiles out to a range of 1.5km and a series of cargo readouts and system diagnostics. For nighttime driving, there is a fixed forward spotlight and an auto sweeping spotlights (from 15° to 45°) on either side to allow for wide terrain visibility.

All control surfaces preconfigured.
Wheel settings: 100% Friction, 100% Power, 40% Strength, -1m offset

Configuration:
  • 1 Industrial Cockpit
  • 1 Control Station
  • 2 Cryo Pods
  • 1 Survival Kit

Many thanks to Captain Jack for his video review!

I don't know why, but I especially like how the front looks. It's extremely weird, but satisfying. Good job!

Many thanks to Captain Jack for his video review! I will update the build tonight to include a gyro to correct this fatal flaw.
