An outstanding collegiate wrestler from Ohio Statem and a founding member of Team Hammer House who brought explosive suplexs and slams, punishing knee strikes on the ground and powerful hooks to the table, "The Monster," Kevin Randleman could never be discounted in a fight.

Despite mostly fighting at Light Heavy, Randleman held the UFC Heavyweight title after defeating Pete Williams for the vacant belt in 1999. Randleman had one of the greatest upsets in MMA history when he knocked out Mirko Cro Cop at Pride: Total Eliminations in 2004, and nearly defeated the great Fedor Emelianenko later in the same year, dropping the Russian on his head with an otherworldly suplex, only to tap out shortly after to a kimura. With wins over Maurice Smith, Pedro Rizzo, Murilo "Ninja" Rua and Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Randleman was a persistent threat at both Light Heavy and Heavyweight.
