Thank you.
i also hope fmod will bring back some life into this game. there are plenty of things lacking in this game which makes it very difficult to enjoy this game. if it had proper sound, i would not mind so much about the big list of other things SCS could VASTLY improve upon. traffic for example. i think there have been some improvements over the last few years ( i notice a distinct difference after not playing for a few years ).
fmod might be a good start. and then the environment i hope...... trees are still the old textures with zero life in them. and everything looks waaaaay too clean and perfect. i would like some dirt and imperfections especially in architecture. it looks so..... clean....
I think so too. And I believe many other players think so too. And I commented somewhere before (SCS Blog or SCS Forum or SCS Youtube I don't remember) very similar to your comment. I am sure SCS either hired in-house sound engineers or a sound contractor company. But obviously something went terribly wrong in the sound mixing process. Then some modders rose up and got the shit right just like a slap on SCS' face (if I were SCS I would be very ashamed by now and I might fire a few employees). But I hope that FMOD is going to revamp SCS engine sounds.
