FAQ:

Delta Squad?

The Delta Squad had its first appearance in the tactical shooter "Star Wars: Republic Commando"(2005) as well as numerous novels and is, due to a guest appearance in the series "The Clone Wars", canon again.
The team itself was an elite commando that carried out difficult operations during the Clone Wars, and consists of the following four members:

RC-1138 (Delta Three Eight) Nickname "Boss"
Three-eight is the undisputed leader of the Deltas. Naturally taciturn, he usually speaks only to bark an order to his team. Three-eight has earned the respect and loyalty of his team and repays this trust through strong leadership.

RC-1140 (Delta Four Zero) Nickname "Fixer"
The recognized "second man" of the Deltas is a harsh type of clone who always does everything strictly according to textbook. He tends to call his teammates by their id´s instead of the nicknames they've earned. In the heat of the moment, he is often the one who spurs the rest of the group on. Fixer is a technology expert and often hacks computers and other tasks that involve cracking codes.

RC-1207 (Delta Zero Seven) Nickname "Sev"
Some soldiers fight because they have to; others fight because they like it. Zero Seven definitely belongs to the latter group. Most of the time he's an ice-cold, efficient killer with a grim sense of humor. When the situation gets really hairy, however, he is sometimes quite jumpy. Other members of the team suspect that somebody damaged his cloning container when Sev was still in it.

RC-1162 (Delta Six-Two) Nickname "Scorch"
The war has terrible effects on some people - and there are also people who do funny things while at war. As a skilled soldier, know-it-all, and excellent explosives engineer, Six-Two has an overdeveloped sense of irony that could be mistaken for fatalism. He owes his nickname "Scorch" to a gun accident that temporarily left him and Sergeant Walon Vau without eyebrows.

Hm...So whats special about this voicepack?
The game itself profited greatly from the interactions between the team members. I'm happy with my individual voicepacks, but I missed the dialogues. Now it can happen, for example, that Scorch delivers a snappy comment when Boss misses a shot - which is pretty cool.

They talk to each other? How so?
well not really - i mean it seems like an interaction, but its not considered if each member of the team is really there. THEREFORE:

So what should I keep in mind?
There is no point in using the voicepack if the team isnt on the same mission, so:
  • Delta Squad together on a mission----->Voice: DeltaX (Banter)
  • Delta Squad is incomplete --------------->Voice: DeltaX

you get the most out of the mod if you give each member the following roles:

name
role
"Boss"
Ranger (or similar)
"Fixer"
Specialist (or similar)
"Sieben"
Sniper (or similar)
"Scorch"
Grenadier (or similar)

the roles will be selected at random though, unless you use "Commanders Choice" down below

Which other mods should I have?
-to start the campaign with the Delta Squad, use "Starting Soldiers" (follow instructions):

Hey jamesjamozo ich wollte fragen wie du die voice lines gekriegt hast. Ich arbeite aktuell an einer Mod um Central durch den Advisor auszutauschen. Konntest du die Lines von Delta direkt aus den Files kriegen da ich da aktuell in probleme renne. Ne antwort wäre echt schön ^^

Dieser Mod hat viel zu wenig Ansehen.
Du musst dieses Meisterwerk irgendwie promoten oder so und spenden kassieren. ^^
