Japanese City Names 3000+

This mod includes 3,098 Japanese city names, all written in Japanese. The list is based on 1990 data, before the Heisei-era municipal mergers that significantly reduced the number of cities. This baseline was chosen to maximize coverage of historical city names. Newer, post-merger city names are not included.

平成の大合併が行われる以前のデータを使用しているので、1990年より後に生まれた新しい市区町村の名前は収録されていません。
