How to Activate Mods
I am new to adding mods to TF2. I have subscribed to two mods but don't know how to make them active in a game? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Enabling a mod
Start Transport Fever 2 and go to the “free game” page. after choose a map Select Custom click on "Setting" and switch to the “Advanced” tab and there you should see the installed mods. To enable a mod, double click it or click the grey switch in the “Enabled” column. It will turn green if a mod is enabled.

If you have already started a game, then go to Load Game, choose your game, then click the tiny little plus sign top right of the mods box (intuitive? no.)

Yeah .... I did notice the plus sign .... I did click .... I select a save game, click on the plus sign .... BUT NO ... IT IS NOT WORKING !!!! Click ... click ... click .... nothing happen .... really ? Setting up mods to be active ... THAT WORK !!! click the plus sign ... get a list of mods ... choose the mods you want ... yeah ... that work ....

Now can you see, a lots of players will have the issue to select the plus sign and not working can not select any mods on the list for the save file..... unless the procedure is change.

I still haven't found the little plus.

Could someone please point it out on this screenshot? I really would like to disable or enable a mod before I get a refund.

Could someone first point out how to attach a picture to a response?

When loading a save game , hit 'options'

When starting fresh it's 'settings'

Copy page URL works for me to attach screenshots to posts.

Thanks Autocoach for your help on this, but that’s where I was going to (when loading an existing save game), except I simply can’t click on the options button at all. Or the delete button.
Neither highlight when the mouse hovers over them, like all other menu buttons, and they don’t do anything no matter which way I try clicking them.
Is anyone else having this issue? :/

Yes. It's (probably) Microsoft game bar . Alt+Enter for windowed mode then the game bar help tip will appear on your desktop then go. Alt+Enter back into full screen and you should be fine . Or disable it completely is another option.

Wonder if they have changed this since you posted? after I click the Freegame area I get this: https://i.gyazo.com/95d05af1318944e726b75f5761a70e8a.png there is no "Select custom" area to pick so am totally lost on how to start the mods.

Nothing has changed.

The button you have to click have different descriptions - between a new game, and a saved game.

For a new game, on the load menu, click in "Settings".

For a saved game, click on "Show Options".
