Aegis Operations Outpost Mk1

Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Vanilla BP - Requires Decorations 1/2 DLC*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Found a good spot to call home? Need something to start your homestead? This small, cozy Outpost is perfect for any survivalist to start their new life on a new planet.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Features

As the first version, this building has all the basics to build upon. With a small rover parking bay with two connectors and a small landing pad with three connectors, you'll have just want you need park your first vehicles. As for components, it has a Basic Refinery, a Basic Assembler, full life support system with a Survival Kit and a single Cryo Champer and three Small Cargo Containers to store ore and materials.

The Outpost is powered by three main Large Batteries, a Small Reactor, and a Hydrogen Engine. There is a wind turbine as well as a solar tracking tower with four solar panels. The Hydrogen Engine has its own H2 Generator so that it would use the ice needed for Oxygen for the Life Support System. There is a catwalk that reaches all around the Outpost for easy access as well as a ladder to get on the roof for any repairs and to also take ammunition to the single Gatling Turret protecting the area.

A cheap and good starter base or outpost. One niggle I have with it is that the connectors are oriented horizontally instead of vertically (or lengthwise on the pad). This makes life harder on people trying to reverse and dock with rear view (or ventral, for fliers) cameras. The connector lights usually make good orientation points for that, but not here.

In my MP game, I lucked out and started in a valley with every possible ore deposit. While I've made my ship to head on up into space, I am now building one of these to leave behind to "claim" the valley for my faction :)

The Hyena wasn't exactly the built for Survival, more like a mid-late game sorta vehicle. Though in my faction lore it's basically the standard recon vehicle. Plus, it's a older design overall and never thought of certain things then as I have now. I'm very happy that you're enjoying my builds though, gives me more motivation to keep doing what I'm doing :)

It's unusual, which is nice. I think it looks better than the Hyena, imo, though I haven't compared them on performance yet.

I saw the Jackrabbit :) Great looker, and I'll be trying it out soon.

Thank you, I built it with all that in mind. I needed a template for a small survival base to start out with, and here it is. I also have a small rover that'll go great with it, it's called the J-LUR Jackrabbit

Looks fantastic, it's cheap and easy for starter, and it will easily expand. I can add my towers of power -- three towers with fuel, manufacturing, and storage for mid-game building. Love it.
