The Monument - Gatling Turret - 100% Vanilla Drop-In

Hi all, welcome to the latest release from Lettuce Industries (a subsidiary of The Lettuce Corporation). This is a self-designating, heavy armor clad Gatling pod turret. It is 100% Vanilla, is very easy to incorporate into another design and is extremely effective.

Added Small Grid Version

This turret NEEDS scripts to be enabled in your world settings to be used

1. Choose either variant of turret (I recommend the "with base" version for bases/headquarters and the other for ships)
   
2. Delete the white light-armor blocks to reveal a rotor
   
3. Copy and paste your selected turret into your chosen spot (the non-based version can have it's base [azimuthal] rotor 1 large block level below the surface of your main grid
   
4. Add a programmable block somewhere on your main grid
   
5. Load the programmable block from the previous setup with Whip's Turret AI Slaving Script

To add more than one of these to a grid at a time, do the following:

• Resave the turret groups under new names and delete the old turret group BEFORE adding each additional turret
  Example
  Original Group: Turret Group: The Monument Gatling Pod Turret
  Renamed Group(s):
  Turret Group: The Monument Gatling Pod Turret FRONT
  Turret Group: The Monument Gatling Pod Turret PORT
  Turret Group: The Monument Gatling Pod Turret Starboard

• Make sure the bottom rotor is connected to your conveyor network, this turret is properly conveyed and survival ready (as ready as subgrids can be for survival, anyway)
  
• Take control of the "GPT: Designator Turret" for manual control of the turret
