[Compatibility with MiddleOnlyFlakPants]

This mod aims to 'rebalance' flak jackets and pants by allowing you to make them out of any textile and by making them take into account the material they are made of. Vanilla flak jackets are supposedly made of cloth, A.K.A. the worst textile in the game, so I balanced this mod around that. However, flak jackets and pants now cost 10 more textile and 10 less steel to compensate. I also made it so that your flak jackets are (almost) never going to better than a power armor.

Flak jacket & pants armor : Sharp : 31% + 25%*Material / Blunt : 8% + 25%*Material
Flak vest : Sharp : 96% + 15%*Material / Blunt : 36% + 15% * Material

You can use loadfolders or PatchOperationFindMod to remove the error when not using Ideology

@Peepis yes you could use cherry picker to remove the old flak equipment from the game (Named something "FlakJacket" instead of the mod's "mafa_flakjacket")

The reason I did this initially was to ensure backward compatibility when added to a save, but I might as well just redo this mod to work as you described.

Actually I'm more curious to know if this flak equipment can be naturally generated for NPCs/raids/loot/etc just like normal flak. If so you could just use something like cherry picker to forbid generation of the base flak equipment and it would effectively be a perfect replacement yeah?

@Alvistio Yeah it rises an error because you don't have the Ideology DLC, but it should work fine, I'll try to fix it soon

Hey, Aspirro. Thanks for the mod. I wanted to tell that I have been getting some red errors since the last update. The mod works fine and I can stuff flak apparel. But still, I wanted to let you know about them. Also, I don't play with any DLC and I'm using the last 1.4 build for Rimwold. Thanks again!

yeah, thats certainly a problem with how this technically doesnt replace the old flak, instead making a separate item. maybe a remake is what it needs.

Fixed I think, although I think at this point I'll have to redo the entire mod to not encounter problems such as these in the future since it was based on the flawed idea that I needed somehow to keep the old flak vests

got a couple issues with the mod. for one, requirements arent what they should be, i got flak vests asking for the same amount of resources as a flak jacket. second, the flak jackets dont carry over the ideology design of spikecore which is a real bummer because i like the design.
