Description
Adds a Pirate Specific Falcon, the Falcon Raider. It is used by the pirate factions instead of the vanguard and sentinel versions. It is faster, has more cargo and crew than the vanguard, but has much less hull points.

* The Ware library File.

* The ships and shipgroups library files.

* The text file has additions

* Added macro and component files for the new ship.

Yes, all this mod does is add the Falcon Raider, and then replace the existing pirate Falcon Vanguard and Sent spawns with Raiders.

I appreciate your quick response. If I remove the mod, I can't even load a saved game. So, I'm stuck with these for my current play through. I have a ton of other mods installed, however these are the only ones that change pirates, as far as I'm aware. I'll look again.

If this only replaces base game Teladi Falcon, does that mean without this mod, the pirates would still spawn in my sectors and just be normal Falcons? Does the base game normally have this behavior when loading a save game?

Note the game should handle this ships with null assets but I can’t guarantee behavior. Especially if you own one of these.

What other mods do you have installed? All this mod does in terms of spawning is replace instances of base game Teldia Falcon spawning in pirate groups with this pirate variant.

Also this mod is not safe to uninstall as removing it will break saves because you will end up with ships will a non existing assets.

I just tried to remove this mod. Save file is incompatible once removed.

Every time I load a save file, these damn ships appear in all my sectors. Every time.
4-8 ships per sector I have to clean out every time I load a save.

Last time I tested removing this mod everything worked UNLESS you where in one of the added ships when you last saved.

This is supposed to be the behavior, is this is not the case please report to Egosoft in there forums here.

It is the same as the other Falcons, just different stats and pirate specific.
