Real Musor, Gluten-Free Pie and "Most Honourable Cop in the Land" Achievement Guide - Updated

This will provide simple steps for getting this achievement.

Introduction

So you want to show the world of Revachol your honour? This guide will allow you to build a colossal arch of honour for all to witness (NOTE SPOILERS, not recommended to read this before you've finished the game). At time of writing, 0 percent of players have this achievement, and it's a bit quirky so I've decided to help out in the name of all that is disco.

However, the way to get maximum honour is not necessarily straightforward. In order to be honourable, you sometimes have to commit acts that seem immoral and then make good, or follow instructions blindly without question. A truly honourable man succumbs to temptation in order to overcome it. Honour is not the same as morality, it has its own weird logic as you will see in the guide.

Tip: Keep especially close watch for dialogue options that mention honour, as they should invariably give you an honour point.

Steps

In order to achieve these steps, I created a 3/5/2/2 character with Authority as his primary skill. Authority tends to chime in when your actions will be honourable or dishonourable. Esprit de Corps is a secondary skill. Otherwise, I recommend putting some points in Shivers and Perception, and other skills as needed to unlock white checks if you fail them. Some key additions in the THC were Caustic Echo, Col do Ma Qua Qua, Spotlight something, and Apricot-Scented One. Basically, all of the thoughts that provide Perception with minimal drawback, as it is one of the essential skills in the game. Once you hit 5 honour, you can get Overactive Honour Gland, which you might as well in keeping with hunting this achievement


Speedrun if you just want to get the achievement quickly.

On the morning of day 2 do the following (explained in detail below): You can get 11 points easily -- 4 from Lena, 2 from Joyce, 2 from Manana, 1 from book shop owner, 1 from the corpse and one from the Kingdom of conscience thought.

This will provide an outline of actions that you can take to accrue honour points.

Investigating the corpse
Try to pull the boots off, and when Kim reprimands you, agree with him and do not take the boots. Make note of everything you have found in the autopsy report. If you refuse "for honour", you can change your mind and take the boots with no negative repercussions. 1(+1) After, when cleaning the boots in the kitchen, you can say you're doing it to protect yourself for another honour point.

Interacting with Joyce
Accept the 130 real to pay off your debt. You have 2 opportunities to gain honour (Volition check). You get 1 for refusing to ask for any more money, and 1 for saying that you are "an honourable policeman" who will not be swayed by her donation.

I am sure there is a dialogue that comes up later where you can choose a line that says something like "on my honour", but I didn't note down which one. 3(+2)

Talking to Plaisance the bookstore owner
Offer to investigate the basement for her, and say "on your honour" that you are a paranormal investigator and not just a drunk. 4(+1)

Ask Manana for money
When he throws you a 1 real piece, leave it on the ground. 5(+1)

Sleeping dockworker in the hostel
If you have at least 4/5 interfacing you can swipe the sleeping docker's pass. Show it to Manana and admit that you took it and return it. 6(+1)

Lena in hostel
Ask if sweeties get money, and when she offers you a pin take it and then return it to her right away, gaining +2 honour.

When asking her about cryptids, agree to ask about just one, hear about one cryptid and begin to ask about another, don't renege on your original promise 7 (+1)

Reading ledger under the headlights with alcohol in your inventory
You get an option to "pour one out for the homies".

Lena Day 2 : start a conversation with Lena, the wheelchair lady, to overheard her asking Garte for a call in Whirling. Ask her why can't Garte let here make a call, she will mention a problems with phone line. Next, tell Garte you saw *things* in Whirling. Ask him about this phone line then ask "Is it true that there was foul play?". He will then ask you "Who told you that?" and you can respond with "I would never disclose my sources. That would be dishonourable."

Promise to find Lena's husband, and when Kim asks, say you are "honour-bound" to find him.

Become a fence-sitting centrist through choosing moralist/democratic dialogue options to get 'Kingdom of Conscience'
Once you get access to the Kingdom of Conscience thought, an honour dialogue option will pop up.

Interacting with Evart
When you are asked to open the "weasel's door", just open it and go straight back to Evart. DO NOT GO INSIDE and let him know you didn't. You can accept his check for 25 real, but when he offers you a 5 real note, refuse it.

When you are asked to get the signatures, do as he asks and get the signatures without forging them. 9 (+2)

"Sunday Friend" in Apt 20
Turn Klaasje over to him and pick the honour dialogue option. 10 (+1)

Interacting with Rene
If you pass the checks needed to convince Rene of your valour in combat, he will offer you his medal, which you can refuse on the grounds of not deserving it.

Washerwoman in village
Refuse her offer of a place to sleep the first time. You can accept afterwards, but refusing saying it is unbecoming of an RCM officer gets you a point.

Drunken seller in village
He will tell you a story about some spirits he has for 300 real. After listening to him, he will change the price to 3 real. You can honourably remind him of the original price of 300.

After Tribunal
Titus must survive the showdown. This will require you intervening and shooting the guy in the face. Pass the easier checks to get him off-guard then go for the kill. Speak to Titus after you recover and say it was an honour to fight with him 11 (+1). You may also gain 1 point for discussing with Titus who he lost.

Endgame

When speaking to the Deserter, pick the honour dialogue option in reference to his refusal to surrender. 12 (+1).

Gluten-Free Pie

On day 3, when talking to Gary the Cryptofascist in the reeds, ask him about whether he is a cryptozoologist as well. You will get a passive authority check to dominate him and ask him what he really does, and he will own up to delivering topping pies. This is then followed with a passive endurance check to ask him for a pie. Offer to check the traps for Morell, and meet Gary back at the Whirling.

In order to get this, I had an Endurance of 6, a Composure of 5 , and an Authority of 7 after modifiers. Keep conceptualisation at 4 or less. Another user has calculated the minimum scores as Endurance and Authority 6+, Composure 4+. As long as you have that score or higher you're good to go with Gary.

To get this achievement is fairly straightforward. Select the physical build. When discussing the damages you owe with Garte say "♥♥♥♥ it, I'll sleep anywhere, hobocop" and that "I don't have a home". Waste time until 10 o'clock and Kim suggests to speak with Garte. Say you can't afford the cost and ask for the dumpster key. Go to the dumpster, there will be an option to go to sleep in it.

Also, the wiki says that you *do* need to have Hobocop internalized, so there's that. I guess all these requirements were added later, since you didn't have to deal with them? Iunno.

I tried out another guide that provided a day 1 savefile with all prerequisites for Real Musor already met, but I didn't have an option to sleep in the container. Other guides said that it can only be achieved on day 2, and that *did* work for me. You should probably mention this in the guide.

I think you can achieve honour point with Titus, when you fist bump him (not sure if including Kim in this event is necessary). Also 99% sure that if you approach the Hardie Boys to deal with The Pigs, the delusional woman, you can also achieve another extra honor. (also taking the medal from René will make you lose one point, but giving the medal to The Pigs will give you the point back - you'll lose the medal, though).

There's no option to talk about honour with Titus. I'm at 11 points now and this sucks. I was really hoping for this last point from him. What do I do?

Honor point - get the medal from Rene, confront the Pigs on your own (without Kim). Once you have your gun - "at ease officer" and pin the medal on her.
