Description


The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference … in the world. So, wake up, Mister Freeman. Wake up and … smell the ashes.

Back here, again, in the same carriage. That lady’s voice that echoed from one ear to another, depending on what side you’re turning to. Watching Barney desperately knocking on the door, tryin’ to reach at least someone from the other side.
Remembering how I met Gman for the first time...
We tried to bring those obscure elements from the game, that we all had memorized, memorized with a Half-Life CD and it's mods...

We wanted the audience to get the feel of a Black Mesa corporation weapon that has been owned by a Gordon Freeman, from "Lambda" section.
All the Half-Life logos was re-created from scratch.
I spent some time re-creating the exact same canonic orange material texturing with some tear/wear, but still adapted it to look like a Factory New one.
I also added some easter eggs to a Battle-Scarred version, since I think that it’s important for such a design to bring a some historical and a meme things for players to remember or learn.
