Fleetingness #1: Cradle

Description
The comfortable sense of security of always having your portal gun at hand... The convenient sturdiness of weighted cubes... Have you been taking those for granted? Looks like you need a reminder that in this life, all things are fleeting.

Fleetingness is a series of maps that combine portal buttons and futbols. This first instalment acts as an introductory map and was conceived in November 2018. Please also consider checking out the next parts.

Notes:
- Futbol throwing is required. However there is no need to build momentum or anything like that, just aim at the wanted direction and press E. You can throw a futbol vertically by aiming straight up.
- A step in the last room involves some notion of speed. Nothing too hard though.
- No glitches or other shenanigans are part of the intended solution.

Estimated difficulties:
Rooms 1 & 2: 0.5/10
Room 3: 1/10
Room 4: 2/10
Room 5: 3/10

Sorry for the absence of music. If that bothers you too much, I suggest you listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Bq7MV638uE (right click on the video and select “loop”)

All credits for the portal gun on/off concept go to FLooper and tuleby (CZ).
All credits for the futbol go to Valve and TeamSpen210.

Huge thanks to Nobody No-One and bullfrog for playtesting and giving great advice.

Thanks! I've always been drawn to experimenting new stuff, and what better way to do that than combining two rarely used mechanics to make puzzles around them? I do hope you'll learn new things about both the On/Off concept and futbol... or rather that you *have learned* new things, as it appears you already completed all three instalments at the time I write this message x)

A decent start into a series that surely will become... "interesting" ^^ Looking forward to it, didn't play many maps with the ON/OFF concept or futbols in general yet (as there are not many and even less in combination). This will become a tough ride, trying to get myself ready for it ^^
Thumbs up so far

And I agree with jgaultney's comment about the second futbol that is beginning to cause confusion :-P

@lfairban
Thank you! Hopefully futbol throwing didn't give you too much of a hard time, if I do make more futbol puzzles I'd like to not use that as part of the solution indeed

Great set of chambers exploring the concepts. The ceiling shots can be a bit finicky.

Oh, no wonder Pandemonium will look confusing if you haven't played the 2 other instalments first :P even then, it's still a very challenging map. This one is indeed way more doable, thanks for playing!

Nice introduction to the concept. I'd been going through your workshop in reverse and got a bit confused by Pandemonium, so I stopped it and played this one first. I'm thinking it might be better to work up to #3. Thanks!
