Description
Based heavily on Sauron2012's Waffen Series, check it out here! https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1700939577

The Success of Horton-Grumman's designs have allowed the US to quickly become a rising superpower. The cold war has quietly bubbled below the surface for 20 years, and small bouts of conflict are not uncommon in the more unstable provinces. Major superpowers flex their muscles by supporting certain factions in these smaller nations.

In 2022, it was realised that the US had a new need to export weapons and cargo across the globe. A heavy airlifter with global range was required, and RFP's (Request for Proposals) were drawn up.

Horton-Grumman submitted their design, but were initially ruled out as the US believed Horten-Grumman's F-120 Project would interfere with timely development. The submissions were assessed, and the US were intrigued by Horton-Grumman's plans. Eventually the Vought Corporation was chosen for 70% of the contract, and Horton-Grumman for the remaining 30%. The 'Cargomaster' submission was capable of transporting 4 tanks or 5 rovers at high altitude across the globe.

First flown in 2023, the Cargomaster was exported to 4 friendly nations. It launched to immediate success. Capable of heavy lifting and vast range, it likely influenced the US Government's decision to hand them the HO-XXV contract just 4 years later.
