SoCal LowRes Slope Houses

Description
This is a pack of slope versions of my SoCal LowRes assets. They have been re-textured and modified to be able to sit on sloped terrain. This pack contains five versions for up slopes and five for down slopes. One of the buildings is a double house so six of each in total.

They all have custom lods, stats in detail further down.

In game they are level 4 low residentials with the Rico mod, without they are only unique buildings.

Please subscribe to the following prop collection to get the best result:

Also, watch me use these houses in my Emory Hills series!

Some notes on placement!
These are not the easiest assets to use if you don't want terrain issues and world holes. You will need to work with the terrain you place these on if you want a perfect result. They do give a quite good and quick result as well if you don't look to close.
These are made to sit on steep terrain and therefore don't conform the terrain.
Also note that placing these you will not see the building. The reason for this is that the main building is actually a submesh to avoid specularity issues below ground level. This also makes placing props on them in the editor hard because the real building is just a small invisible triangle in the middle of the asset.

Tris:
SoCal LowRes 1 Downslope 1469 (239)
SoCal LowRes 1 Upslope 1491 (231)
SoCal LowRes 2 Downslope 1603 (226)
SoCal LowRes 3 Upslope 932 (160)
SoCal LowRes 5 Downslope 1436 (204)
SoCal LowRes 5 Upslope 1199 (173)
SoCal LowRes 6 Downslope 1006 (246)
SoCal LowRes 6 Upslope 1263 (333)
SoCal LowRes 7+4 Downslope 2925 (456)
SoCal LowRes 8+2 Upslope 2236 (484)

Textures:
d,c,s,i,n 1024x1024 (128x128)

If you don't use the Ploppable RICO mod, these will just be unique with no functionality.

Do note that the screenshots use Springwood theme, daylight classic, relight and relight-average lut. They might look different in your setup.

For some reason not all of them are making their way to the game. I'm am only able to obtain 1, 3, 5, 6, and 8+2.

I use these all the time. The upslope ones work so well when the terrain is slightly steep but the road is still a grid, they fit nicely. I wish there were more buildings like these that work with weird terrain elevations.

10 out of 5 stars for my hometown-inspired city! (L.A.)

Yep I am also getting invalid LOD texture size reports on these. I really wanted to try. I hope the author updates :steamsad:

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I'm getting an Invalid LOD texture size on all these. It's too bad I was excited to try these.

I admit I had some doubts about this asset because of the size (my computer doesn't have a ton of RAM, so I have to be careful about asset use). However, then I built a hillside suburb and I agree, it looks GREAT! https://imgur.com/a/7Gljhaj Vast improvement from the default auto-flattening behavior. Thanks so much!

I haven't been able to finish them, I still really want to, but there is some slight things to do such as custom lod etc. Just have to find the time and energy to do so. I share them for those who wish to get them in their unfinished state. For free of course!

Fantastic assets, I always create LA themed cities, I feel like there's a lack of that material on the workshop. Do you have a dingbat set by any chance? I was reading up on Simtropolis about a possible set of dingbats, but not sure if you got around to finishing those, heck, I would honestly pay to have them here, we have a huge lack of those!
