These assets crashed my game.

For some reason not all of them are making their way to the game. I'm am only able to obtain 1, 3, 5, 6, and 8+2.

I use these all the time. The upslope ones work so well when the terrain is slightly steep but the road is still a grid, they fit nicely. I wish there were more buildings like these that work with weird terrain elevations.

10 out of 5 stars for my hometown-inspired city! (L.A.)

Yep I am also getting invalid LOD texture size reports on these. I really wanted to try. I hope the author updates :steamsad:

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but I'm getting an Invalid LOD texture size on all these. It's too bad I was excited to try these.

I admit I had some doubts about this asset because of the size (my computer doesn't have a ton of RAM, so I have to be careful about asset use). However, then I built a hillside suburb and I agree, it looks GREAT! https://imgur.com/a/7Gljhaj Vast improvement from the default auto-flattening behavior. Thanks so much!

Hi Leeijo! Do you do commissions?
MatteCosta Feb 12, 2021 @ 8:28am
Great work, these look fantastic!

I haven't been able to finish them, I still really want to, but there is some slight things to do such as custom lod etc. Just have to find the time and energy to do so. I share them for those who wish to get them in their unfinished state. For free of course!

Fantastic assets, I always create LA themed cities, I feel like there's a lack of that material on the workshop. Do you have a dingbat set by any chance? I was reading up on Simtropolis about a possible set of dingbats, but not sure if you got around to finishing those, heck, I would honestly pay to have them here, we have a huge lack of those!

If i remember corretly from when working with them these will not work as growables I'm afraid.

Nice houses. Can one convert them to growable assets. And would you mind if those were published crediting you as the creator?
Leeijo  [author] Oct 11, 2019 @ 8:59am
Yeah, it's because of parklife props... Check my comment further down. Can't fix that now I'm afraid.
lOd_xx Oct 10, 2019 @ 11:06pm
i'm missing some, i only have one down slope and four up slopes
Leeijo  [author] Oct 3, 2019 @ 10:08pm
You don't get the building at all?
kirinkevin Oct 3, 2019 @ 2:16pm
I tried to plopped it today and I have a deep hole in blue colour I first considered that I missed some assets but I checked I subscribed everything. Does anyone know what I did wrong?
Leeijo  [author] Jul 29, 2019 @ 2:58am
@NCCaretto No, I am sorry, these will not grow but need to be plopped manually and use Rico to funktion properly.
NCCaretto Jul 28, 2019 @ 10:51am
@leeijo hey love these houses! I'm new to detailing and plopping rico etc. If i add these to a theme and using building theme manager will these grow? or are they only ploppable?
Leeijo  [author] Jul 13, 2019 @ 10:49am
@Tezzeen never heard of such a problem and doubt it's with my assets. My guess is some kind of mod conflict.
TeZZeen Jul 13, 2019 @ 3:14am
Okay, so when you are placing RICO buildings and plop the growables they will snap to the grid and by the road you are "holding" the building by. Some of the buildings in this collection don't do that so I have to manually position them instead of them just snapping to the road and grid by themselves. Some are also a bit elevated so I have to use "move it" mod to lower them down so they don't just float in the air.

It worked great at first but after I started up the game a second time with these assets they were a bit broken. Might work with just reinstalling the assets.
Leeijo  [author] Jul 10, 2019 @ 2:17pm
@TeZZeen I'm not sure I'm following on what your issue is. What do you mean they don't snap? They're all made from the same template anyway so it sounds more like some mod issue.

For the rest of you who don't get some of them loading, it turns out that using props from parklife makes that a prerequisite or else they won't even load. This behavior was unexpected and inconsistent to how it otherwise works. I might fix it later this summer. Sorry about that!

Great job on these. I got some issues with some of the buildings though. Especially the upslope ones. The one with two houses and another doesn't snap to the road when placing. They did at first but now they don't. One of the downslope ones snap to the road but not to the grid as well. Otherwise amazing job on these assets!
Rémy (Niko) Jul 8, 2019 @ 11:49am
I seem to be missing some. I only have one down-slope, and 4 up slopes.
rosemarion Jul 7, 2019 @ 1:55pm
I absolutely love these - they've added so much life to my California style beach area, and are also perfect for my little villages in the hills. The style & decorations are both fantastic!
King_owl Jul 5, 2019 @ 1:49pm
WOW
Leeijo  [author] Jul 5, 2019 @ 8:31am
@jdodd17 growable would mean I couldn't place props as the main building is just a small triangle and the real is a submesh... Unfortunately!
albertofuji Jul 5, 2019 @ 7:54am
Brilliant! Thank you for sharing
jdodd17 Jul 4, 2019 @ 4:22pm
I will use RICO awesome!!! Why not growable?
Saplaiceen Jul 4, 2019 @ 1:15pm
