HFE 'Shiba Inu' Cargo Rover

The HFE 'Shiba Inu' Cargo Rover is an eight-wheeled ground transport intended to carry an atmospheric miner and a large quantity of ore. It uses Batteries for power, requires only basic resources to build, and is easily capable of handling high speeds or difficult terrain under load.

The Shiba Inu was designed specifically around the HFE 'Dartmoor' Planetary Miner as a method of saving both electrical energy and time spent gathering resources. While a mining ship alone would have to make several trips to and from a distant ore deposit, the combination of miner and carrier means only one journey is required, almost none of it using Atmospheric Thrusters. The Shiba Inu can carry four loads from the Dartmoor, along with a loaded mining ship, and can travel at high speeds through surprisingly difficult terrain.

It's very difficult to seriously damage the rover: flipping it over is nearly impossible (and can be recovered from using the preset Gyroscope override), while the large number of wheels can handle a brief airborne jaunt if the suspension strength is set for the current load. Thanks to improvements in ship control systems, maneuvering and parking the vehicle can be performed without risk of the miner detaching and causing damage.

As a convenience measure, the rover also includes a parallelized Conveyor Sorter array that will automatically unload the miner when docked, along with a Small Hydrogen Tank to refill your personal jetpack. The ship's O2/H2 Generator is accessible from underneath the cab as well.
