USS Gagarin - NCC-1309 - Shepard Class Cruiser

Description
USS Gagarin NCC-1309: Star Trek Discovery

The USS Gagarin was a starship utilized by Starfleet in the mid 23rd Century, leading up to its destruction in the Federation-Klingon War of 2256. The Gagarin was a Shepard class cruiser, named after the first American in space Alan Shepard.

I am still working out the kinks of this ship, it is fully functional and armed. It now has directories in the ship to show you where things are if you get lost. (It's got a minimalistic interior, but people have gotten lost in it)

Armed with 12 Gatling Turrets and 4 Rockets Turrets, one Fore and one Aft Rocket Pod, two Medbays, 16 Cryopods, a Shuttlebay in the ventral aft section, and a Jump Drive (with a pitiful range I am working on improving). There are also some batteries to suppliment the nuclear reactors, and they can be recharged with the 2 solar panels hidden on the ventral hull by some hangar doors (an experiment you could say, the doors covering them are not in the screenshots, so keep that in mind).

As of this post I don't have plans to build the USS Discovery in canon style, but that might change depending on if I find a good scale to work with for it to still look good and work properly at the same time. (I try to keep my ships on the smaller side so they work on most PCs)

I do intend to make an era appropriate shuttle to go with the Gagarin. Thanks for the feedback :)

the ship can fly in earth like atmosphere so it can fly on any planet love the ship :steamhappy:
