Kestrel Mk.II

Description
Here is the Geo-Orbital Dynamics Kestrel Mk.II Air-Superiority Fighter.

It weighs in at 63,539kg and can accelerate to 100m/s in roughly 8 seconds while carrying a load of ~170 Nato 25x184s. Despite its compact size, it is feature-rich and high-octane, featuring 12 forward Gatling Guns, 6 Parachutes, Survival Kit, 2 Remote Controls, Antenna and 4 widely-spaced redundant self-repair Projectors to make post-combat maintenance as easy as flying near a welder wall.

It can also latch onto larger prey ships using dual Landing Gears, and twin Heavy Armor/Blast Door Decoy pods projecting out of the rear keep the pilot and the lightly armored core surprisingly safe under fire. 6 Batteries provide 24MW of output with 6MWh of storage which is ample to supply its forward thrust (1,344kN) for approximately 40 minutes.

MMaster's incomparable script provides for in-cockpit diagnostics of important systems, although a tweak I might make is to remove the "damage" command from the main display, since it spams away the other stuff during the fight.

Here is a picture of the Kestrel Mk.II next to his big brother, the Goshawk Mk.I. Workshop and post coming for that one as soon as I get a good video of it in action.

All my builds are foremost meant to be very capable and efficient in Survival, sometimes with the added bonus of not looking horrible and/or blocky, and the Kestrel's no-nonsense design and footprint is testament to that. Here is a materials list for printing one out in case anyone is curious. Pays for itself tenfold after neutralizing just one Air Traffic encounter.
