Campaign Map Camera Mod Version 2.0

Description
UPDATED WITH THE NEWEST CA SCRIPTS
So no there is no changing of behavior in the game with the mod turned on anymore

The extended camera is to and also is only guaranteed to work with these campaigns to:
- Grand Campaign
- Cæsar In Gaul
- Imperator Augustus
- Empire Divided
- Rise of The Republic

Works for the current (05-05-2019) versions of these campaigns, it is unlikely that they will change, but if they do the mod will be updated ASAP also:)

t is save game compatible, it does not change vital same game data.

**Important**
- This particular camera mod is made for vanilla campaigns, so only use it for Dei, Radious etc. knowing it might change gameplay behavior. It is because of the way the campaign camera mods work, you have to edit the scripts, that also control other game stuff.
This is a Vanilla camera mod, it is NOT specifically made for random overhaul mods. Not yet, anyway. There will be a DeI version at some point.

AND in contrast to the old version I have made sure that the narrated pannings over the map at the start of each campaign work perfectly :).

The original mod info:

I made a campaign cam as you requested and I used the zoom figures/limits from "Biggus' Better Campaign Camera".

Here is the LOW zoom version:

Please report any bugs, where they happened and such.

Enjoy

I play the game in 2x the screen resolution (using DSR), when I take the pics,
it gives a quality boost because the rendering in higher resolution is more precise, and then scaling back down gives really good Anti-Aliasing while preserving much of the detail.

Look for DSR in your NVIDIA control panel, and enable that, so you can use higher resolutions than your screen supports, it will be more demanding, but it will look very nice.

if you have an AMD card, you need to find DSR somewhere in the AMD settings

what mods are you using to make the map look that good and hd, i downloded the mod and it only changed the map not the textures

How can I fix the minimap's fog of war. It's glitching and it's doing that to every campaign even after deleting the mod.

Cool :)

Thanks Phazer! Yes, I am asking about the achievements outside the game, the Steam achievements. Thanks for your response. It sounds like the mod probably will not disable them, so I will try it.

You mean the achievements that one can see outside the game in Steam?
If so, I have never heard of a mod that does that,Have you?
BUT it IS a mod, there is a never any guarantee of anything when using any mod, as mods are not made/checked by the company itself.
----
On a related note, a campaign camera mod works by editing LUA files, and the same LUA files are used in some in-game mechanics, and thus if the company changes those exact files to a significant degree, the mod itself also ought to be updated.
If you are in serious doubt, i'd advise you to find a more up-to-date campaign camera mod, I am pretty sure there is one, and if there isn't one, then this one is probably fine.

Does using this mod disable the game achievements if otherwise playing Vanilla?

The low zoom version is for an older version of the game, you should rather use this one.

What is the difference between this mod and your "low zoom version"? This version also zooms in low

@everyones :
Here is 3dx max playing an animation that my program has extracted from Rome2:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcJI_DM-BR4

I have finally gotten animations OUT of Total War games, so people can edit them and put them back in the game My program RigidModel Editor 1.0, that can do those things will be released as soon as correct the last few bugs. It can do lots of thingd, including drawing the models with textures, lighting normal mapping, so they look like in-game.
