How to extract custom maps for Company of Heroes. / Wie man von Benutzern erstellte Karten öffnet.

Download Workshop Map / Lade "Workshop" Karte herunter

EN 1. Pick a Workshop map of your choice and subscribe to it.
GE 1. Wähle eine Workshop Karte aus und abonniere sie.

Get the COH2 Tools Application / Lade die COH2 Werkzeuganwendung herunter

1.Navigate to Tools in your Steam Application.
1. Navigiere zu Werkzeugen in deiner Steamanwendung.

2.Download the Company of Heroes Tools.
2. Lade die Company of Heroes Tools Anwendung herunter.

3.Start the Company of Heroes Tools.
3. Starte die Company of Heroes Tools Anwendung.

Extract the map / Extrahiere die Karte

1. Press Tools and then Archive Viewer
2. Drück auf "Tools"/Werkzeuge und dann auf "Archive Viewer"/ Archievanzeiger

A new Windows should appears.
Ein neues Fenster sollte erscheinen.

2. Press the "new file" icon.
2. Drücke auf das "neue Datei" Symbol.

3. Navigate to the path where custom maps are saved on your system.
3. Navigiere zu dem Ort auf deinem System, wo von Benutzern erstellte Karten abgelegt werden.

On Windows it's here:
In Windows ist es hier:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\company of heroes 2\mods\scenarios\subscriptions


4. Navigate through the folders until you get to the map name.
4. Navigiere durch die Ordner bis du den Kartennamen siehst.

5. Right click on the map name and select "Extract".
5. Klicke rechts auf den Kartennamen und wähle "Extract"/Extrahieren aus.


6. Select the path, where Company of Heroes maps are saved in the game folder.
6. Wähle den Pfad, wo Company of Heroes Karten im Spieleverzeichnis abgelegt werden.

C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2\CoH2\Data\Scenarios\mapname

Open the map in World Builder / Öffne die Karte in "World Builder"

1. Start the Coh2 Worldbuilder.
2. Starte die COH2 "Worldbuilder" Anwendung.



2. Navigate to the map in your Company of Heroes 2 folder.
2. Navigiere zur Karte in deinem Company of Heroes 2 Verzeichnis.

C:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2\CoH2\Data\Scenarios\mapname



3. Have fun exploring the workshop maps.

yes thats strange. maybe it became a standard map after all. sometimes they make those mapcontests and the winner map becomes a standardmap and is added there. But that's just my speculation.

It’s strange. I have one map from the workshop there. Although I have over 25 of them in another folder ...
