Boeing 70 'Styleliner'

The Boeing 70 'styleliner' bears a strikingly close resemblance to the soviet Tu-70 airliner, it is however a different aircraft, that made its first flight in 1948.

Like the Tu-70 the Styleliner reuses many parts found on the B-29, it however has a new airframe built specifically for passenger transport, the engines remained the same. it also comes outfitted with extra fuel tanks to extend its range even further.

The Styleliner was intended as a testbed for civil aviation technology, and has as such also been outfitted with a multitude of upgrades regarding safety equipment, and aircraft stability.

Being more spacious than most other airliners, the Styleliners also offers a remarkable amount of passenger comfort and luxury.

Originally intended to be sold to Pan-Am, but since Pan-Am was at the time statisfied with its fleet of Aeroliners TWA became the major contractor for the Styleliner, purchasing some 30 aircraft of the type.


This airplane features custom sound effects, rotating propellers, smoke effects and retracteable landing gear.

6.7k triangles with all submeshes combined, 2048x2048 textures with texture sharing thanks to LSM.

Package includes both vehicle and ploppable version

Requires Vehicle effects mod and FlipXZ mod.

It is adviseable to use cubemap replacer mod as well to make the polished aluminum texture look much better..

Why is it a building and not a prop ? because it uses submeshes and props cant have submeshes, and without these submeshes the aircraft would not look nearly as good.
