My Little Pony : Equestria Mod

Now, the actual description. It's a bit fuzzy, sorry.

Hi. I was inspired bu NovaCoru's mod for Victoria 2, which adds the Principality of Equestria on the West coast of the USA.

Currently, there are :

The Nation of Equestria, which starts near what I would call California. It is in its own tech group, Enlightened Ponies, and use the Western style units because they are way more colorful.

There are four nationalities for now : Cosmoponytane, the unicorns, the earth (ponies) and the pegasus. All are accepted as Equestria is a cultural union, but Equestria proper only has one province ; Unicornia and Ponyland are vassals to Equestria (much like Japan). There are also Crystal Ponies and the Crystal Empire but they're special. Only one religion, Celestianism ; but watch out for the Selenian reformation in the Equestrian religions group, especially if your war exhaustion is too high.

When the game begins, Pegasia has broken their vassalization and waged war against Equestria. They are the leading partner in a Personal Union with the newly created "Pegasus Colonies", a country that claims alot of central north american territory. They also possess Earth pony provinces. Pegasia is a military power with impressive ideas, and can take Equestria's tech group if it control its capital, making Pegasia an interesting counterpower to Equestria, especially in the hand of the player. Ponyland itself is quite big.


There is alot of other things, but the Steam Workshop formatting is really not that good. You can check my much more complete post on the Paradox Forums[forum.paradoxplaza.com] (you need to create an account and register you game to see the post, sadly). We also have a public Git repository on Github[github.com] you might want to poke at if you feel like adding stuff or solving problems.


Finally, my justifications for all of this : After milleniums of exploring the world, the Equestrian people settled on some land. As the time went by,the actual ponies were less and less numerous relatively to humans living with them. There are no ponies today, but the ponies traditions, culture and religions are still revered by the ''Equestrian humans''. They had lived for centuries in peace ; But recently, a priest (Celestianism is an organised religion here) felt a disturbance in the Force. He felt something was changing, new powers rising. He felt the Equestrian people had to prepare themselves and the other people around them for the menace, even by force.
