JBOY Bean Bag Shotgun Demo (Less Lethal)

Description
Demonstration of Bean Bag Shotgun script.
Please rate and comment. Enjoy!

Features:
- Converts shotgun to a less lethal Bean Bag shotgun.
- Victim is stunned when hit by bean bag. When recovered, victim is subdued most of the time, but has a small chance of running or grabbing weapon when recovering.
- Bean bag is a visible projectile.
- Victim drops weapon when hit.
- Player can toggle weapon between lethal shotgun shells and bean bags.
- Any shotgun mod can be supported. This demo uses RHS shotguns, but you can modify the init.sqf to specify different shotgun class and shotgun ammo class to use for bean bags (i.e., you could use CUP shotguns, Warfare Thai shotguns, etc.

Ah I see. Its too bad its not compatible with ACE, but I'm glad to hear it still works as intended otherwise. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, we use ACE and found that using the script had issues with ACE, it was wrongfully causing players (taking damage by falling, vehicle collision or being shot by normal weapons) to drop their weapons and lose attachments, believe it was something to do with damage handlers, while players can pick weapons back up, attachments would be completely lost so wasn't working with ACE for our group at all, without ACE the mod worked as intended and was great but for those using ACE you may experience the issues we did.

Hey Lt. Lee! I don't use ACE so I don't know if there are issues with that or not. I do know that my scripts intentionally force impacted AI or player to drop current weapon. I believe the player should be able to pick the weapon back up after recovering from being stunned though.

seems that when using ACE the bean bag shotgun can have issues which causes players to lose their current in-hand weapon (and attachments) not sure if anyone else is having these issues but it has been a big thing in my group so just be aware. FYI this is new ace not old.

This demo was using the RHS shotgun, and simulates bean bags for stunning via a script. I don't know of a an actual "stun shotgun" mod.

You have referenced seeing a stun shotgun? May I see where that shotgun is i want all the variants

@kennylitszkin, yes, it requires CBA_A3 and RHSUSAF. Yous should see them listed under Required Items on right side of this page.

Hi xGriffin. I don't use ACE so I have no idea if its compatible or not. A simple test would be to try this demo mission with Ace running and see what happens.
