The Deep Core Minig Rigs where developed after new technologies made a Planets core rescource, stone, a viable alternative for the production of basic and common components like Steel Plates and Tubes, Construction Components, Motors and many more.

This Rig is designed to be adaptable to even the most hostile of environments and can be deployed everywhere, be it Earthlike Planets orAirless Moons. Its Habitat is completly sealed and ready to sustain a Crew for extended Periods of time, it can however operate completelyon its own. It will continuosly produce Materials without any Input by an Engineer. Just a pickup of the refined Materials and Componets isrequired, for wich it features mutiple Docking Points and a Landing Pad.

Hello, Engineers.

With everyone building their own Space Elevators right now i figured it was about time to revert the Technology and build a fully automatic Mining Facility.
So, this is essentially a Facility that will continue to produce all Materials build from Iron, Silicone and Nickle on its own, as long as there is Planet underneath it to mine. It works by lowering a Drillplatform into a shaft while building a Rail to run on from the Rescources its mining.

This Build enables you to just press a button and never worry about Steel Plates again.
Its on a small scale, and the onboard Assemblers arent nearly enough to use all the Rescources it mines in time, but nothing stops you from just slapping more on there and go as big as you want.
It was tested in multiple Worlds, Creative and Survival. The Multiplayer is not tested however. Feel free to try on your own risk.

EDIT:
The way projectors work wont let you project ANY subgrids. That means the drillbit will need to be build by hand, if you want to use it in survival.
Sadly there is no workaround for this problem in the game currently.
