Ricardo Milos

Ricardo Milos is a Brazilian adult model known for his erotic dance video. His dance video inspired a series of MAD/animated videos on the Japanese video-hosting site Nico Nico Douga (NND) in mid-to-late 2011. The series helped to establish Milos as a character in the Gachimuchi/wrestling series. In mid-to-late 2018, people online began using Milos’ dance in bait-and-switch videos in reaction to the application TikTok.

Ricardo Milos' dance video was originally published on a gay porn site called "Jock Butt." In the video, Milos dances erotically while wearing a red bandana on his head and an American flag thong. On October 15th, 2010, the video was uploaded to NND as part of the Gachimuchi series and has since received over 500,000 views.[1] Milos' charismatic and alluring dance caught the attention of Gachimuchi fans and he soon became a recurring Gachimuchi character. Due to his similarity to the Brazilian football player Ronaldinho, NND users gave him the nickname Ro nau jii nyo (ロナウ自慰ニョ, with "自慰," or jii meaning "masturbation”). The jii pun in Milos' nickname came before Ronaldinho's nude video was leaked online.[2][3]

Milos' dancing video was uploaded by YouTuber GACHIMUCHI GAY YouTube on August 31, 2016. It has received over 100,000 views.

Ricardo Milos surged in popularity among Russian-speaking internet users in mid-to-late 2018. On June 18th, the VKonkante community Танцы Рикардо Милоса (Dancing Ricardo Milos) posted a video of Milos that has received over 50,000 views.[15] Later, on August 31st, YouTuber yarix posted a video of Ricardo dancing alongside Howard the Alien. The video has received more than 100,000 views since being uploaded.

The Ricardo-TikTok war soon spread onto English-speaking websites, with the earliest English mention occurring on 4chan's NSFW video sharing board /gif/ on October 10th.[20] The next day, on October 11th, the first Ricardo Milos thread was created on /gif/.[21] Ricardo Milos videos spread through threads on 4chan's /gif/ and /wsg/ and users sharing videos on Discord servers and YouTube.

On December 11th, 2018, an emote of Milos named "ricardoFlick" was submitted to the Twitch emote extension.
