Yes, but in diplomatic history, the Franco-Prussian War and a Franco-British union have already occured. Both involve France. The convention is the names of countries or their cultures, not the names of their leaders. We dont call the Sudeten Crisis the Hitler-Chamberlain crisis.

It's a Franco-British Union as in Franco the leader of Nationalist spain, not the french.

Thats an Iberian Union not a Franco
