Pelican IV

The Pelican IV, named after it's peculiar shape, is a long range battleship designed for long campaigns and painful extended sieges. It is well armored and it's lift, propulsion and weapons have been placed in such a way that they are unlikely to suffer a catastrophic failure or trigger a chain reaction. This, unfortunately, makes it a fairly inefficient ship for empires in need of quick firepower, and it is a ship that requires an escort of smaller corvettes to deal with threats, but it will prove worthwhile in the long run.
