Wonders - Museo del Prado (Brave New World)

Description
The Museo del Prado is the main Spanish national art museum, located in central Madrid. It features one of the world's finest collections of European art, from the 12th century to the early 19th century, based on the former Spanish Royal Collection, and unquestionably the best single collection of Spanish art. Founded as a museum of paintings and sculpture, it also contains important collections of other types of works. A new, recently opened wing enlarged the display area by about 400 paintings, and it is currently used mainly for temporary expositions. El Prado is one of the most visited sites in the world, and it is considered to be among the greatest museums of art. The large numbers of works by Francisco de Goya, the artist most extensively represented in the collection, and by Diego Velázquez, Titian, Peter Paul Rubens and Hieronymus Bosch are among the highlights of the collection. +1 Culture, and +1 Happiness from every Museum. Contains 3 slots for Great Works of Art. Available with Archaeology.

Requires Brave New World.

As far as dynamic display, that screen should just be a list of cities with total/used slots of each kind; clicking a city name should take you to a scrollable details screen for that city with a row entry for each kind of building and their used/availalbe slots.

iirc there are four hard-coded slots for wonders to display in the cultureoverview.lua. More than four generate bonuses, they simply aren't displayed. adding base buildings with gw slots isn't overly hard, BUT you have to add a column for the new building, which means you have to widen the screen, which means you'll eventually you'll run out of screen if you keep adding buildings. That whole interface was very poorly done from a modding perspective.

I will keep an eye on that. Thank you.

@Maguyver Basically what is going to happen is someone is going to recode the lua for that screen so that it is dynamic, and then as long as all mod makers who want to use it include it, it should be fine.

Yeah it seems to be causing a problem with the display, at least for me. I tested it on its own, so... Anyhow, I will look up that thread on CivFan. I was toying with this myself and had no luck, so when I saw your mod I was really excited for a moment that someone with a bigger brain solved the problem. Oh well. Thanks for your work in any case.

@Maguyver Right now adding GW to buildings is a no-no because they are hard coded into the display. There is a really good thread about it on civfanatics, but I can't seem to find it right now. I *think* adding them to Wonders is OK, but again there is a lot of discussion going on. Seems Firaxis didn't really code these in a way that makes modding easy. Regardless, you can expect I will stay on top of it and adjust this mod as needed.

I was trying something like this on my own as well; adding Great Art slots to wonders and buildings, what I found was that it seems to cause some problems withe the "Your Culture" tab. In other words, I found that some of the slots would vanish or be permanently filled by phantom art (works that couldn't be moved and had no name or text). After trying your mod I found something similar. It seems like the National Epic and Heroic Epic slots for great works simpy vanish. Is this happening to you at all Envoy?
