[CW] - BEE DRONE

This is the Bee Drone of the Drone Reactionary Force from Captain Jack's and Last Stand Gamers Colony Wars series.

These Bees are designed to be cheap and quick to build, making them ideal for a automated defense grid which was their primary use within the Colony Wars Series. They can be programmed to fly out to predetermined patrol points, stand guard, and then return to land autonomously on a connector. The programming is done completely WITHOUT SCRIPTS and with minimal timer blocks so as to make these more viable for multiplayer servers where scripts are sometimes disabled or banned.

The programming itself is a GPS point based system which I am in the process of designing a downloadable Excel spreadsheet to calculate the required point for programming with all instructions required to setup your very own Drone defense grid and hive like landing grid.

Each individual Bee is equiped with:

4nr 40mm Bofors

4nr Batteries (capable of supporting up to a total of approx. 2hrs of atmospheric flight without reactors)

6nr Small Reactors (acting as either a back up for the batteries, or the main power source of the ships)

The Bee is design solely for atmospheric flight and will has a limited range when relying on batteries so please bare this in mind when using them!

Due to the focus on volume production of these drones, they only sport light armor, but with a dense enough defense grid (increased density will be an option in the programming spreadsheet), these Drones should be able to act as a decent deterant to probing attacks and can deal with most small ship fighters if densely spaced enough.
