Description

28 years have passed since a phenomenon known as the The Tempest engulfed the world. Citizens around the globe were taking part in huge organised protests when something caused them to violently attack each other. This spread until billions were infected with this blight, leaving only small pockets of civilization left. Now, a generation later, the remaining population are looking to take back their homeland piece by piece and maybe learn more about the cause of The Tempest on the way...

The 28 Years Later custom campaign is now fully released. The maps are below:

“Chapter 1 – Wait it Out”
Phase 1 - "One Foot in the Grave"
Phase 2(+X) - "Seeds of Change”
Phase 3(+X) - "Highland to Hell"
Phase 4(+X) - "A Tale of Two Cities”

“Chapter 2 – Hide and Seek”
Phase 5 - "Welcome to Kirkwall"
Phase 6(+X) - "Tunnel Vision"
Phase 7 - "March of the Titan"
Phase 8(+X) - "Passfire"

“Chapter 3 – You Know Where to Find Me”
Phase 9(+X) - "Lily of the Valley Pt 1"
Phase 10 - "Lily of the Valley Pt 2"
Phase 11(+X) - "Bridges over Troubled Water"
Phase 12(+X) - "Requiem for a Dream"

Some of your choices in the first 11 maps change the final map. As this is a story campaign the difficulty isn't too high but generally increases throughout the campaign. However if you like to play at 500% difficulty or above and would like to try a challenge then try the X version of the maps that have them. This custom campaign takes around 20 hours to complete if you play no pause.

For my day job (at a power station) I work on average 55 hours a week and I have a firework business and a family too. So I fit in creating these maps, designing the new mechanics, balancing the difficulties, sourcing the art/sound and write the story all for free when I get any free time.

A sequel called "29 Years Later" is in the works with a new 12 map campaign continuing the story.
